Board Reflections

Greetings! Welcome to the Puget Sound Walk to Emmaus website.

On behalf of the entire PSWTE Board, thank you for visiting. If your visit has sparked an interest in attending a Walk to Emmaus weekend, I ask that you watch the 15-minute video clip about Walk to Emmaus on the “About Us” tab. Then pray that this is where God might be leading you on your spiritual journey. In our community, we firmly believe that these are God’s weekends and God has a time for each pilgrim to walk the road to Emmaus with Him. Please feel free to contact any of the board members about sponsorship information. We will work with you to get you scheduled on a weekend. If you have been a pilgrim on a walk weekend, I invite you to the Fourth Day tab to discover more opportunities to be involved with the Puget Sound Walk to Emmaus community. The Fourth Day tab is password protected for privacy. Follow the instructions if you require the password.

  • Did you know? Request to Serve applications are now used for only for the Walk you requested and are not passed to the next Lay Director. The Board requests that you complete a new electronic Request to Serve application for each walk you desire to serve on. The application can be found under the Fourth Day tab on our PSWTE website. Due to the difficulty in managing paper copies of the application, we have discontinued accepting paper copies and only the electronic version of the Request to Serve form is accepted. Reminder: the recommendation is to serve on one Walk per year.
  • The Fourth Day packet materials have been modified and most of the materials are now available under the Fourth Day tab on our website.
  • The Board needs volunteers for several committees both as helpers and committee chairs. Community members should contact Rocky Dowrey, President, if interested in helping out.
